The girl in the flat directly above me was raped last weekend in her bedroom by a guy that was walking her home from the student union. She slit her wrists striaght after it.

My flatmate had to call an ambulance and the police. Pretty awful.

I've not heard how she's doing now. I hope she's okay.

It's horrible when something so bad happens so close to you. It makes you paranoid it's going to happen to you.

Anyone had similar experiances? This thread is going to be utterly depressing, isn't it?
