Okay so this is a bit of a weird one but I'm going to wedding on Saturday and the groom is unable to talk due to health issues, a few words, a laugh here and there but that's about it. He also can't really move so him gesturing with his hands is out of the question.

Is there a way to deal with this, does anyone have any experiences? I don't want to frustrate the hell out of the guy but neither do I want to sit and nod and smile and patronise him like I'm talking to a small child.
