My Nokia 6500 classic is at the menders so I've got a temporary phone, so no-fangled basic Nokia, which switches on in 5 seconds, has great battery life, the sound when talking is better, weighs very little and as it costs nothing I ain't arsed if I lose/scratch it. Whereas the fancy new Nokia has shite battery life, buttons stopped working, the speaker blew, and the microphone went fuzzy.

Does anyone have an old mobile they use instead of a newer style? I think it may be the way forward.
