Has anyone else seen or got this book? It's fantastic.
It's a mixture of pictures and a couple of essays focussing on New York in the immediate years before Crack put 'harlem in a headlock'. It's devastatingly poignant, full of photos of young black people, with promise and the world laid out in front of them. The photo's are all great. They aren't professionally done, it's like a look through a big family's photobook.
I would thoroughly recommend looking through / buying.
