Isn't it about time that this was retired from all movies from now on?
I was watching a movie earlier and there was a total of four "NOOOOOO" moments. It's fucking ridiculous that in 2008, screenwriters still write this into scripts, and directors still direct these moments. NO ONE yells "noooo" in real life do they? So why is it still being used?
Can you imagine this on a script:
[Derrick walks into scene. He sees his girlfriend is dead, and falls to his knees]
Derrick - NOOOOOOOOOO!!
Does this actually appear in scripts?!
Also, it was amazing that when Star Wars Episode 3 came out, and Darth Vader yells "NOOOOOO", everyone was offended, when the same phrase is used in dozens of other movies and people just let it go!
