Music Social More…

getting to that point where you realise the outside world has nothing to offer

michael_w [Edit] [Delete] 11:45, 30 September '08

today is that point

ive been a bit of a hermit since graduating because im still jobless, but today is the point where i honestly cant see me bothering to leave the house during the week, unless its to get supplies.

i have music, i have films, i have books, i have radio 4, i have sky+, internet etc, and ive just loaded up on podcasts.......there is nothing that this desolate essex backwater could possibly offer to compete with that.

everyone else i know is working or at college/uni, there are no good pubs to read in, there are no good cinemas showing anything worth seeing, there are no good cafes to waste away the day....there are two good record shops but torture with no dosh.

so im not even gonna bother making an effort.

any other tales of life on the inside?
