i'm not terminally ill (good start to the day)
so after going for hep c tests a fortnight ago (something i'd been meaning to get round to for about 6 months), and specifically requesting the results by text, and not receiving a text, and worrying, 4 days later than i was supposed to find out, and calling every day, i finally got through to their results line (open from 9-10 and jammed) this morning to find out that i'm not in any way dying, and can finally call myself victorious over the mugger who i fought off but managed to stab me with a syringe (he didn't get any of my stuff). tonight i will drink to this victory.
it's a bit rubbish how disorganised their system is though. what if you actually came out positive? and isn't waiting a week for this kind of thing way way too long when it's possible to get a result in 10 minutes? and how awkward is it sitting in the waiting room of an STD clinic?
