For me it's either The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou or Ghostbusters.
always be peter venkman to me
First person to say Lost in Translation wins a hot water bottle full of piss and shit.
load of shite. good soundtrack though
The end scene with 'Just Like Honey' playing is especially great.
with scarlett johansson's ass is especially great
tis' a fine ass.
or maybe groundog day
a great performance though.
sorry but I have seen it.
I do love Caddyshack but not for him... Ghostbusters? Stripes? Little Shop of Horrors? Even Lost in Translation...
In conclusion, I just don't know so I will go for Garfield 2 as I haven't seen it (unless he isn't in it).
Mad Dog and Glory
I'm sure I heard somewhere that Murray and De Niro were originally supposed to play each others' parts.
I'm glad they didn't.
My favourite Murray moment is probably his scene in Coffee & Cigarettes.
"Are you a bug, Bill Murray?"
for the bit when he puts a second cigarette in his mouth.
Also, What About Bob? is brilliant.
the frist one
Ernie Mckracken is his best character by far!
Has anyone seen “Where The Buffalo Roam”, where he plays Hunter S. Thompson? I really want to watch it but I’m worried it’ll be shit.
and you have Peter Boyle playing Dr Gonzo too.
its my fave bill murray film :) he does a good hunter S
but i love his scenes in Tenenbaums, especially when he says 'Well i just want to die' while contemplating his biscuit. the most brilliantly understated comedy.
Erroneous answers in order of erroneousness:
*Lost in Translation (he is great but even he can't redeem the film
*Life Aquatic (would have been so much better if the script had been through a couple more drafts)
*Rushmore (Not terrible but clearly not as good as Groundhog Day or Ghostbusters)
Ghostbusters, Rushmore and Life Aquatic not far behind.
it always gets slated, but i really enjoy Broken Flowers too.
