Anyone been to any of them?
Wanna take me?
a tight Yorkshireman university friend made big ostentatious gestures by 'allowing' me to come and dine with him af what turned out to be quite ordinary restaurants.
a few times. It's alright but totally vegan (I think) which isn't really my bag.
It cost about £15 for fresh crab, smoked haddock, cockles, green-lipped mussels, prawns, langoustines and some other tasty things all of which were beautiful.
Take a bottle of white wine and a crusty loaf of bread and sit on the beach watching the boats sail round Mersea island.
It was one of my favourite afternoons of the summer.
We drove but I think there's a train that stops not far away and you can get a bus on to the island. Maybe.
Bill's in Brighton which is amazing.
Also the Icco pizza place which is cool.
not very good if i'm honest. sub yo-sushi standard. been meaning to go to al-shami for ages but never have.
Don't go to Moon in Manchester. I've seen round the back of it and it's not pretty.
is great. I had a main, dumplings to share and a couple of the steamed buns with a beer for £10 a head.
Icco's is good and cheap. Their four cheeses is heart attack goodness.
Tayyabs is amazing. Though I can't handle hot food and even the delicious smells sizzled my nose. Wahaca is really tasty but you have to buy a few dishes which makes is expensive. But *really* good.
where've you been Jack?
Belated happy 30th! Welcome to old-gitdome!
Hmmm seafood is probably my favourite food ever. Well, that and medium-rare cow.
