No, it actually is!
I wish I was French.
interpretation of the word "interesting"
Frere, avez vous un dime?
Ma thé est tres chaud
You do the math!
Votre the's obtenant le froid. Boisson vers le haut !
La chat est dans le deuxieme quai
My only hope now is finding a Frenchman.
I can't promise you'll meet any French men but it could be fun!
he he he.
as the very way in which the definition of that same word varies on either side of La Manche illustrates your point
But yes, interesting point.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?
national character, credit, crunch, longing and YOU
I'm going to find a meths thread to be in.
if I remember correctly
It's no surprise they're not as hard hit. Not just by being careful, also that only those who have put their money in the US have been bitten, and the US/French don't get along too well...
I'd say that the relative freedom of movement the French can enjoy (both geographically and economically thanks to the shared currency) would be an important factor
that they simply haven't borrowed too heavily, unlike others.
how the level of personal debt seems to be so very, very different. Banks not allowing you to run up huge credit card bills/take out mortgages you couldn't afford... who knew THAT would prove to be a good idea??
They're the European standard bearers for sensible 'Ve are faaar more senzible than you'
The last thing we need is another escalating European war over who is the most sensible. Like '92 all over again. You know what I'm talking about?
