"Look how cool I am, I've been to all these festivals. Wooooooooo!"
I've never thought about it before.
The consensus was don't keep them on.
as to how nice the weather was and how much of a tan you got.
a bit grubby to me. take them off!
and i'm trying to cover it up. granted, a million pieces of paper on the wall doesn't really improve it anymore, but anything's better than this stupid prissy shade of purple.
It's for other people to see. Look at me, going to gigs, look at those gigs I went to! Aren't I great.
So I could meet other 'alternative' kids at school. It was a pretty good conversation starter, worked out pretty well.
I don't think I'd do it now though.
while I'm slowly dying inside at work.
And they look pretty (although not the silly papery ones), especially last year's Connect one.
Don't really understand how something that gets soaped as much as the rest of me could be dirty.
So, in short, no.
the first thing i want to do after a festival is take the fucking wristband off. although i can't bear to wear a wristwatch either ....
It makes me laugh when people have loads of them on. It is a bit "look at me"
anyone wearing lots of shit on their wrists are cunts
Very occasionally I'm wrong however
all the wristbands from every year they've attended. I don't really get that.
last weekend I saw people with loads of them on...I was wondering if they were for the year or they're trampy people and have them from every festival they've been to.
it's fucking disgusting.
Don't really want to slice them off, i'll leave it to the test of time. Still have my Leeds '06 one on. No real reason for keeping them on other than my crippling lazyness.
but anyone else, no.
It's not something that bothers me, in fact I don't see why it would bother anyone.
you can't assume everyone's kept it on for the same reason.
some people are just very nostalgic - and its something to glance at and smile every now and then, while sitting at your office desk in january.
it's amazing how many people seem to give a shit. so what? let people do what they want..
