A burglar busts into your room as your girlfriend/boyfriend sleeps soundly beside you.

You wake. But don't challenge him. He's huge. He's probably got a knife.

You wait for him to leave. He's got your laptop, your wallet and your passport. He hears someone in the corridor outside, and so he makes for the window in your bedroom.

The window looks out over a desolate courtyard.

As he begins to climb out, he drops your laptop and it breaks outside on the ground because the drop is so high.

Suddenly, he slips and is dangling out of your window in danger of death.

Do you:

1) Ignore him
2) Help him in and ask for your stuff back in return for saving his life
3) Ring the police - they'll be half an hour getting here, and he looks like he might have got back in by then - your spouse at his mercy
4) Sneakily get up and bash his hands, plunging him to his splattery death
