I'm not sure whether i'm enjoying this at all or not.
(Ps. The mum looks a lot like jade goody.)
she really does
and calling it "Channel 4's most anticipated programme" and things in the advert, but I was never at all interested.
but touching too
but even uglier.
It has the feel of a channel 5 show
pretty embarrassing :(
but I can just guess, from what some are saying, that the whole premise about this programme is: Channel 4 films an "ordinary family" with all their quarrels, bonding and hardships, intended to make people think "Oh god, how could they do that?", when they do it themselves.
I think The Royale Family did that while being funny.
that bad. It's not sensational in anyway and is just simply a fly on the
wall documentary. It's a nod back to those documentaries from the 1980s of just people being filmed. I quite like it.
It was only on an hour ago!
I lack the facilities in my room to access such luxuries as digital tv.
I thought my lack of technology had startled you.
is amazing, and this promised (in TV pressland at least) to be on a similar level, but it's just not. why don't people know how to make documentaries any more? everything is this lowest common denominator inoffensive bland tripe.
rule number one in making a documentary: have an interesting subject.
the family: fail.
I found bits of it incredibly touching.
I'm not sure about certain bits: I'm sure no-one in real life in times of strife genuinely gets out a photo album to cheer themselves up, that seemed a bit American filmy. Overall though, I like this.
