Oh the things she must have seen!
I had the worst evening yesterday. I left work at 4:30pm as I had some friends coming over for dinner and needed to walk the dog and run some errands first. I let Molly off the lead at about 5:30pm for a quick run before we went home. She ran off after some rabbits and disappeared, this is not unusual. After an hour without any sightings or noise I started to worry. I called her for an hour and then called my Dad to come and help. After 2 hrs I called my friends who were meant to be coming for dinner to come and help. After 3 hrs I called Mr Starshaped (who was just finishing work) and after 4 hrs I called my sister and her husband. We were at the park til gone 10pm screaming for her, we'd been back home to check if she'd headed back, but didn't find her. I was in tears and they made me go home. We called the police and the dog warden, but no-one had seen her. We had been home for at least 45 mins and I was sitting crying on the sofa when I heard something outside, I went to the door and there was Molly crying to get in. I have no idea where she had been, she was a bit scratched up and muddy, so she might have been stuck down a hole. I can't believe she made it home all by herself.
