what's the best thing you've ever won?

Smee [Edit] [Delete] 31 replies 17:02, 16 September '08

when i was about 11, a man from Domino's pizza knocked on the door and basically gave us a massive ring binder full of vouchers.

there were pages and pages of BOGOF deals, and a couple of pages at the end which had loads of £10, £20 and one or two £50 vouchers to spend on whatever you wanted at Domino's. There was also other stuff that I can't remember.

Basically it was shortly after Domino's launched in this country and it was just a promotion - we got fuckin lucky! i guess the idea was that anyone who ever came to our house would get fed Domino's pizza and everyone we knew would hear about it. Well, it worked. Even you know about it now.

Anyway, can anyone beat that?

you didn't make that clear. However, as I get to go home in under an hour, I'm feeling lenient and I'm going to let it slide.

Four of us won an international competition to design a prototype for post-disaster housing in third world countries. I don’t think that we actually won a prize or that, so it was just the kudos.
