is about to start on FilmFour.
Here's to a few hours of me struggling to understand Ledger's words....again.
i cried so much when i saw it at the cinema. SO MUCH.
I'm taking off my make up just incase.
One of those irritating "worthy" films just out to win Oscars.
And utterly, utterly humourless - life is full of humour, even in the most serious situations (I'd say especially so - Jewish humour from the holocaust is really quite incredible), so why do films that want to make themselves feel weighty have none in? It just makes them feel unremittingly bleak and unrealistic.
And if it wasn't trying, it's a fairly pointless fucking endeavour.
but i prefer it when we watch bland teen comedies about the prom and kissing and tight buns
