Gerrard & Torres fit to face United.
(Fit to face Liverpool, that is).
I'm so confident Gerrard's gonna be ineffectual that I've put him on the bench for my Fantasy Football team. (I've done the same for Berbatov too, though).
I don't rate either of them.
I'd have had to use 'any' as opposed to 'either', so you lose.
to me like you were talking about the last two players mentioned.
but I'm not too concerned about his fantasy football team!
2nd in the DiS fantasy football league, Y'ALL should be concerned!
I'm in the guardian one. Are you in a different one?
You'd be 330 points off the pace though, sadly.
There's only 13 of us in it.
Unaware of any others. But me and my mates were doing the guardian one anyways.
Dunno if brusma set it up, but he's currently propping up the league on a lowly 168.
was taking a dig at robbie keane during the week.
you know what happens next...
to change sooner or later
But fuck it.
The low won't be as low as it usually is.
The possibly high will be higher, though.
by the title of this thread you meant to say the mighty Spurs vs Villa on monday.....
him play. hopefully we'll turn them over. They can have their off days.
needs 50 shots to score 1 goal
That said, I'd rather Man u beat Liverpool as Liverpool seem to think they are still the best team in the world having no league titles for 20 years.
You must have been speaking to those Liverpool 'fans' who aren't really into football.
She thinks the Champions' League is a bigger achievement that the Premiership.
At Bradford we idolise Ces Pod and speak in reverent tones about the quarter of an hour or so that Arshavin got at Valley Parade.
This explains everything.
Keane's settling in, they've bought some width and everywhere else on the pitch is really taking shape now. I think Man Utd's season's going to be a bit of a stuttering start until Ronaldo's back. They look very beatable at the moment.
I think the bad performances are probably largely over with.
I think Keane and Torres will compliment each other really well. One's strong, agile and very intelligent on the ball. The other's lightning quick and probably the best finisher in the world at the moment.
for everything he did at spurs, getting 20mil for him was great business. it took a few seasons for us to find a player that could work with him, i.e berbs. it may take the same for him to settle in a liverpool too.
Berbatov and Torres would have been awesome.
they could have got at least 10 more goals....
back on the bench for the villareal game midweek.
i honestly can't see liverpool scoring twice. i can't see gerrard or torres being fit enough to play to their best, and i think our extra width will cause real problems. especially if nani plays (and plays well.)
Kuyt will create a 'diversion' of being the worst Liverpool player since Nunez and snatch a crucial goal.
share my excitement for Birmingham V Doncaster tomorrow.
Come on you blue boys.
Hartlepool v Cheltenham.
Pools for the win.
