anything interesting, enjoyable or that's made you happy happen to you so far?
still addicted to riot grrrrl stuff?
that's very little sleep!
i need at least 10 hours, more if i can get them!
and any plans for the coming week?
orientation for uni on monday coming(YAY_centric!!)
this is,what, the second, third time you've been to hospital?
i'm a little worried about you georgia?
best of luck anyway
i love that feeling
especially if you have to get up early the following morning.
i usually listen to a mixture of really angry or really sad or really happy music to lull me to sleep.
have you got any techniques to get to sleep in these situations?
that's adorable.in an emo sort of way...
the point of the sad music ^^above^^ is to make me tearfull, which always sends me off to sleep.
it's my most emo characteristic!
dare i ask whats yours?
i prefer remembering a broken heart.always gets the sad-e-ness going
it's a fair trade :)
However, i'm going to a pre-screening of Burn After Reading tonight so im excited.
feeling pretty happy still from the walk i went for earlier with a friend. it was amazing. that wasn't strictly speaking this evening though, more like this afternoon. oh i had some cookies though.
how are you dood?
a little bored,but oh well
and got some cool jumpers.
thinking about what to pack for uni though, although my classes don't start for ages, and orientation isn't till monday.
so that's something to look forward to!
any plans for the coming week?
start going through my stuff for when i'm going back to uni later this month
probably get drunk a couple of times
that's pretty much it. you?
apart from the speech.
Me oh my i hate public speaking in those kinda things.
i always go red
how about you?do you get embarrassed easily whiterussian?
i'll be speaking in front of like, 70 people as well. i'll know most of them, but i'm not sure that makes it any better. i start stuttering and stuff, it's not great
but at least they're your family!
i don't think they'll care if you mess up a bit
but it's one of those things where you know nothing bad is going to happen but you still can't help but be really nervous. or stop your hands/voice from shaking. you know? oh well, i might be able to get a couple of glasses of wine in me before the speech.
every cloud has its silver lining
I've done nothing today. It's been good. I'm now sitting around listening to drone-y folk records. good fun.
I'm going to whitby tomorrow though, that should be alright.
drone,like sunn O)))/earth drone?!
This evening I've listened to Barn Owl, and the skaters. Check em out.
little impatient about moving out,and thinking about what to pack.
I have been working on a new mix today and its coming on really well. Plus I have been steeling samples from science podcasts to add a nice theme to teh mix. Now my mix will have MC. Prof. Brian Cox on vocals heheh
he'll like that!
didn't he used to be in a rock band?
so not quite a rock band no hehehe
the title of it will be...
Large Hadron Collider (Double Bass Tube Mix) by Jimi The Exploder Feat. MC. Prof. Brian Cox (ex D:Ream)
the internet right now is like looking in the fridge, I keep staring but nothing changes.
I've just noticed that when my washer and dryer are on at the same time it sounds like the world is going to end.
you should record it,and claim it's your new noise rock project.
better yet, slip some rocks in there as well.make it sound more authentic like
that cool kids would listen to it, maybe just for scene points or will be too extreme for indie kids?
not sure about extreme though.
maybe add some more BRUTALITY,then come back to me
something angry, maybe if I took a teenager off the street and chucked him into the mix?
i approve of that method.
it gets results
nursed my head after last night ready to go out in a bit. I've opted to ignore the bank balance once again..
ignorance is bliss,etc.,etc.
I got some contact lenses today. They feel weird. Other than that, today/ this evening has been a hovercraft load of nonsense and 7up.
Im meeting some people I havent seen in a long time tommorow though, so am looking forward to that.
which hasn't put me in the best of moods. i'm trying to read a book but i can't seem to pick the damn thing up for some reason. humph .....
my left eye is itching :(
i'm all squinty and bloodshot now.
did you get something in it?
Cold cumcumbers on the eye/ cotton wool dabbed in milk works wonders. Physically constricts the blood vessels of the eye, thus reducing the SA for the allergen to work.
I have hayfever also :D
excellent,i'll try and remember that for next year!
i'll try that next time
i had to take 2 pills a day for most of the summer.
do you use any?
but it doesn't usually affect me at this time of the year. i was unprepared.
well, mildly contented
and maybe a little bit in love
the south has softened me
Can't dis a brother for going silly
Everybody crazy (you're crazy) trippin' on me (you're crazy)
Tell me what's wrong moving on
don't forget your roots
i've not seen you around here in a bit
for the past week or so, what with everything
you've finished your dissertation man!
take a break!
i've also finished university, my accommodation and pretty much everything else. NEED FOCUS IN LIFE
or are you, like, taking a year out for travel or something?
i've got jobs in mind, but the ones i'd applied for before i didn't get, so i'm just going to have to suck up my dignity and get some temp work, it seems, and keep applying for proper jobs
something about the CREDIT CRUNCH.
best of luck anyway man
"Beaming" suggest some form of radiation poisoning. You should perhaps invest in a GIEGER-MULLER COUNTER.
started off on marvin gaye, cigarette 1, walked a bit more, moved on to charles mingus, cigarette 2, finished up on tom waits for the home straight. Good walk. Got to break out my old coat+scarf combination because it was cold. 8/10
is today, so i'm trying to get the application done and sent off this evening in the hope that they'll accept it. i will be happy if i finish it to a reasonable standard but i don't think that's going to happen.
best of luck
I'm hoping they don't notice that I don't know anything about social care, otherwise i won't even get an interview. i have no chance of getting the job, basically.
