righto, i pretty much bum anything Maxis releases to be honest and this seems to contain their own 'trademark' brand of humour and spot-on cheesy music etc etc... i have been playing it for 4 hours now (yeahiknow) and am starting to get into it despite refusal to read actual instructions (the in-game tutorial seems a bit thin on the ground). the creature species thing i created though is a bit - goddamn - really ugly.

WUT are your inital thoughts?

i'm worried it might get pretty boring after a couple of weeks. the first stage of the game kinda sucks.
