i'm totally overwhelmed and scared looking at them online.

i cant help sorry
and skateboarders. sounds ace.
shirley you'd be spoiled for choice?
if it comes to it,you could ask a taxi dude for recommendations.
sorry,not very helpfully
Her ability to get to the interwebs is a bit limited at the minute but I thinks she's hosteled there a couple of times.
check out the map,and click through.
i hope this helps
Guntrip has vouched for it being 'fine'.
is the one i'm staying at i think. someone told me it was alright.
i'm also spending 6 nights in the times square hilton. i'm a classy guy.
but Jazz on the Park was nice. Basic but relaxed, and an ace location. Although it's ages since I went (just after 9/11; that was fun).
Not Lower East but it was cheap and I had no problems with it.
on a hostel site, you have SoHotel, Windsor Hotel Inc., Sun Bright Hotel and Chelsea Centre East.
Use this to work out the area you want to go to
Hope that helps!
in November, it seems like it's good. near the subway, upper-west and near Central Park, which isn't hard because it's MASSIVE.
i need to do this too. thread hijack: can anyone recommend somewhere for boston, DC and philly too?
i stayed somewhere nice in DC, i'll see if i can remember the name.
this is it. it has a bar in the basement that has like 800 types of beer or something.
and it's central & safe?
DC isn't really big anyway. dupont circle is a really nice neighbourhood, big houses and a lot of embassies. it's also within walking distance of the white house and the national mall and all the museums and stuff.
from watching the west wing.
you've just made me remember the bit where josh first meets joey lucas and he's wearing those yellow trouser.. things because donna was getting his suit cleaned and she got stuck at dupont circle and ahahahahaha
i need to get them all on dvd, really.
i only have series 1 and i've rewatched all of it over the last month. might go out at lunch time and see if i can any others at the music & video exchange :D
but the carlton arms hotel is amazing.
the best place to stay when i've been there.
although it's been a couple of years, and harlem was starting to "gentrify" when I was last there. So that might be less boring than it was when I stayed there.
Chelsea Hostel was nice enough
not in the LES tho
to stay in williamsburg? if there are any hostels in williamsburg. only 1 stop on the L train!
i think it's called that.
it looked nice from the wbesite but it was all booked up so i can't book it.
The White House hostel and the Chelsea hostel
White House is more central but it's a bit grotty. The Chelsea is not super central but is much nicer and they have free pizzas on Weds (I think) and there are three subway stations within walking distance
has a nice kitchen area and internet and stuff which really come in handy
