Any of you good at this? I'm considering doing one for my mother (awww, I know) for her birthday but I'm not overjoyed at the prospect of sitting down to actually write one and then standing up in front of about 70 people to read it out. Any tips? Dos/Don'ts? Have you ever made an especially successful speech or had someone else hold one for you? Details below please.
