Bullard called into England squad
Jimmy Bullard has been included in the England squad for the first time for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers away to Andorra and Croatia.
Bullard gets his chance with Steven Gerrard, Owen Hargreaves and Michael Carrick all ruled out by injury.
Newcastle striker Michael Owen has been left out and Portsmouth's Peter Crouch misses out on a place again.
Robert Green and Joleon Lescott return while David Beckham and Theo Walcott stay in Fabio Capello's 23-man party.
proud probably wrong word.
to see antoher fulham fan here

ASHLEY YOUNG YOU FOOLS
Despite how many goals England have got from Beckham's set pieces I really don't think he should be in the squad (let alone starting XI as I think he will be) anymore. I'd prefer to have some width and pace on the flanks, neither of which he really gives.
Secondly I'm concerned about the lack of (bar set pieces so maybe it is lucky Beckham's in) goalscoring potential. For all Owen's failings and injuries he's still the English striker most likely to score at international level.
No Ashley Young or Abiwhatshisfunnyname?
Woah, better tell 75% of the male z-list population.
He's recovered from last week is he? In that case his exclusion (along with Young's) does seem odd.
and Brown and Johnson are better specialist right-backs. So I agree with Capello on that one.
think he's injured. Anyway I see him more as a centre half. Brown is adequate, but we're seriously lacking a rightback at the moment.
Owen, Agbonlahor, Richards, Crouch and Young?
where the fuck is young and agbonlahor. you need width capello, WIDTHHHHHHHHHH.
I seriously think (even though i'm more than a little biased) that NRC and Curtis Davies are deserving of a place in the squad. Davies is immense, and NRC was a powerhouse today.
Woeful squad on the whole, how Lampard still makes it without question is beyond me. When was the last time he had a worthwhile performance in an England shirt?
Most deserved call up ever.
