Why in gods name did they remove the search events by distance feature?
It was the only thing the site was useful for!
It's showing me stuff in London. Do you mean like 30+ miles around Cambridge for example?
For me it just shows Manchester, but won't show anything in Warrington like it would before, not that anything is ever anything on there. No, the thing is that most of us are prepared to go to other towns to see shows, Leeds and Liverpool aren't that far, but it used to be so easy to find out about gigs there. Can I be bothered to search through each city individually, hell no, that'd leave me less time to write crap on here each day.
I'd assumed it was because there weren't many events near me, but it keeps giving me things in Dublin and Easten Europe now. Odd.
it always used to reccomend me gigs in Poland and LA, no idea why but it's stopped it now
banned at work because I used it too much
Although since they changed the site I can't stream tracks due to needing to download some component and the uber-jobsworth in the Information Systems department would probably dropkick me out of my office.
It's great. I'm currently downloading a free postcast of stuff it's recommending me. I <3 lastfm.
WITHOUT my ipod
that is ace to the max!!!
I just aint fussed about lists of tunes I own.
Plus I find enough ace music as it is without being recomended more.
I don't play very much music on my computer so nothing I listen to would scrobble.
I know what gigs go on in my area from a couple of sites.
If I want t know what people are listening to I will just come on here and talk about music heheh
I feel like I'm being spyed on a little bit by instaling a program that records all the music I play...
There aren't enough pictuers of monkeys in hats!
gigs in my own, instead of carlisle and manchester. which was a bit odd.
anyway, i'm addicted to it. i love the free downloads, they make me feel like a good person.
