Remember the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire scandal?
When the Major guy cheated and then got found out?

Well, I know it's not exactly topical but what was your general view on this? Assuming you could be arsed to have one.
I remember at the time having arguments with people because I thought it was no worse than cheating in a raffle.
The show put the money up to be won in the same way that a fete might offer a giant teddy bear as a top prize. Both situations involve an organisation quite happy to give something away but only one of them could result in the cheat going to prison. Why is the Millionaire situation ethically worse?
I don't know why this has popped up in my head again, it happened in 2003. I clearly live in the past. Perhaps I'll post about Watergate next.
