does anyone here read latin?

Heliotrope [Edit] [Delete] 19:00, 26 August '08

i do, but I'm pretty poor at translating english to latin (because it isn't part of my course).

someone has asked me to translate the sentence 'the boys go into the woods with the girls with big books' into latin. i have rendered it as 'pueri in silvam cum puellis cum magnis libris eunt' but i just want to check that a) i haven't made some kind of horrendous basic error in my declension and that b) its ok to stack 'cum' like that, it seems slightly wrong to me somehow but i'm not sure.

thanks.
