Specifically what makes a gunshot different?
if it goes baa
if you're in streatham, it's a gunshot, if you're in islington it's a firework, if you're in bexley it's a car backfiring
but if you're in archway, it's...something else that goes "bang"
so I'm leaning toward "fireworks". But the first few bangs really, really really didn't sound like fireworks and did make me wonder...
Cars don't backfire. Have you ever seen a car backfire actually IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE? No, they're always in the distance. Because it doesn't actually happen. They're all gunshots.
mummy said it was always a car backfire when i was 10 and i used to visit her..
