my phone is perpetually on silent. I don't see any reason for it not to be. It's usually in my pocket, and if it's not, it'll be on my desk or something where I can hear it vibrating anyway.

my phone is always on silent, so when I miss someones call I can say "yeah sorry, it was on silent"...or it's because I like the vibration, whatever, you decide.

My friend once made
a ringtone called ´Devil´s Voice´ on his phone. It was one of the most genuinely disturbing, atonal, weirdly time-signatured pieces of music I have ever heard. I was fascinated by it, whenever I saw his phone I used to get him to play it. I wish I had it somewhere. It was the sound of, like, souls being wrenched out of mouths by demons, basically. Only on a phone.

Fun Devil´s Voice fact: the guy who composed Devil´s Voice went on a pilgrimage this summer, thus putting the whole ´pilgrimage´ concept into my head to begin with before going to Lindisfarne actually inspired me to go on one. Only he actually IS religious. Which just gives the whole ´Devil´s Voice´ thing even more layers.
