I was speaking to a friend of mine after work yesterday, who was talking about how he was worried about his receding hairline, and had read that lifting weights - which he'd been doing for the past 6 months, and has noticeably bulked up - accelerated the process through an increase in testosterone production in the body.
He's now decided that he is never going to touch them again. In essence, he's decided to sacrifice one part of his appearance - his newly buff body - for another - his hair.
Leaving aside the dubious science of whether or not weights actually do accelerate a persons hair loss, it got me wondering whether he should have just sucked it up and carried on with his gym-going.
So maybe a quick straw poll of the ladies here in particular - baldness or thinness?
