which one brings you more lulz?
but to be pedantic, doesn't writing it beforehand count as scripting yourself?
but you know what I mean!
is mostly 'scripted' though.
green wing series 2 was comparatively poor.
I like both.
watching Last Comic Standing on TMF Sunday nights? Very good, I want to bald Englishman to win! Or the lass, she's brill.
is that even possible?
But she doesn't always talk about boys being awful and periods all the time, that's what makes her funny.
her best joke:
"is amy winehouse jewish? because if no, someone should tell her face."
I like the raw exposure of the stand-up circuit. GOOD stand-up is high-art with the fat kept on (SEE: Mike Reid, Eddie Izzard, Ricky Gervais, Daniel Kitson, Stuart Lee, Richard Pryor and George Carlin)
I also forgot Rik Mayall...his early incarnation as a Stand-up was brilliant. Oh, and Alexei Sayle.
I can't think of a good one anyway
someone has to do it
do it in lolcat or I'll boo at your show
but I will anyway...
Stand up comedy makes me laugh more often, especialy live.
It's like a battle of wits.
I prefer one man and his mic.
...or sitting on Poofs.
And I don't mean 'stool'' as in shit.
nevermind the buzzcocks is fantastic.
...but he subtracted the humour.
I know Stephen Merchant was hoping to play Edinburgh, but he's stuck with playing intimate gigs round London for his foray into the world of Stand-Up.
But if your comedy translates as well to stand-up as it did to Television (such as Gervais) why not cash-in on your established foundations and fall right into it.
black books, green wing, arrested development, first series of the mighty boosh (it just went down hill from there) etc. etc. i'm not in a list mood.
2 years too late, I know.
The Milky Joe episode is in the second series.
i dunno i just prefer series 1.
don't even start me on the new series.
It doesn't really tie in with the other two.
And allowing them to do what they wanted a bit more I think.
never mind the buzzcocks
