a brilliant person bought me it for my birthday on friday, started reading it yesterday morning and i'm hooked... on page 316 already.
I nearly bought this the other day.

i dont know whether knowing parts of the story are fabricated would lessen its impact. I might give it a go though.
after making it up mean that he must be a fairly decent story teller regardless of what misery he has or hasn't suffered?
The Bloody Chamber is fantastic.
I read JPod by Douglas Coupland recently, I quite enjoyed that.
i recommend any lem books you can find he's great
