North/East London, anywhere from Holloway to Hackney, for four people sharing a two bedroom flat?
I'm not being deliberately facetious, but honestly, you'll get very little consensus out of this.
I'll say £300 each per month
but I really wouldn't recommend 4 people sharing a 2-bed flat... in London you need your own space more than you do elsewhere, for sanity apart from anything else.
I'm assuming you mean cheapest without it being an actual hovel?
Or do you just mean cheapest - because I saw a flat in Dalston recently when I was looking around which worked out at 70 quid each for a 4 bedder....but which the word Dickensian was made for
Didn't read that properly - 4 people sharing a two bedroom flat....yikes.
HOLLOWAY TO HACKNEY
HACKNEY TO TOKYO
MICHIKO I LOVE YOU
4 in a 2bed! Are you illegally housing eastern europeans, letting them out only in the night to do your bidding?
There was a 4 bed house down my street that had a police bust. 15 people were living in it! People were sleeping in the bath
doesn't automatically halve the amount of crap you need to store in your room
They should at least get a 3rd room for overspill and guests etc.
next you'll be suggesting that couples sometimes live in 1 bedroom flats!
i've never slept in a bath. i've slept (alone) in a car in the middle of a town centre, which really was the most uncomfortable, cold, frightening experience.i do not want to repeat that.
You won't get much for under £400, seems to be the pattern. If you want a lounge or anything.
shared a two bed place (two couples, obvs) in whitehall park (north of archway station on the side of the hill). it was a really beautiful maisonette with a huge garden and loads of space. they were all quite happy there.
i'd say £300/month each minimum, if you went up to £400/month each you could probably get something really swish.
jesus! thats impressively unbelievable. big boobs?
Sounds like a recipe for disaster. And conducive to misunderstandings involving the words ‘open’ and ‘relationship’.
But I’d say about £300 each, more if you feel you’ll need a second bathroom.
