of a car boot sale! made 50 quid from selling old junk, not bad.
I might sleep.
for the first time in a few years.
i bought Peter Frampton and Echo and the Bunnymen.
it wasn't so good.
my best sell today was an old stereo which played vinyls and it had a remote control
i was thinking of buying a record player for my bedroom but i couldn't be bothered looking.
vinyl buying at car boots is a bit risky because there's only really 70/80s pop ballad albums because nobody would want to sell their Marquee Moon or anything.
it's never used at home as we have a USB turntable
the same weird third-world Manchester of the past kissinginkansas seems to but... aw screw it next time I go into a supermarket I'm trying haggling for the LOLs.
thats not really haggling. That sounds like its more stealing. You shouldn't get involved in stealing, its wrong.
Shops should let you haggle more. If I ran a shop I think I'd openly encourage haggling, it'd make buying stuff in general well probably initially more stressful but then once people were used to it, a lot more personal and fun,
Smash the system!
and the polish woman offered 50p....i was like 'no, but you might be able to pick something up without legs over there for a similar amount...Equally i was also selling a portable tele for £7.50 and a guy asked 'how much is this'
'is that all you want for it?'
'well i can charge you more if you want!!' lolZZ!
maybe i can do better next time
i don't ever TRY to be funny,i just do a lot of wierd stuff
I did one the other week. I kept telling people I was making money for uni and they bought more.
Never found any in London.
But yeah, great for picking up books/cds/vinyl that people are clueless is worth anything.
That is a sign of the Gods Favour right there.
Good working order?
