DiS is Dull, no one else is in, i'm bored and played plenty of xbox.
what you all doing?
to drink Malibu (pretty grim, but it's the only thing in the cupboard for which I have the appropriate mixer), read Believer magazine (first issue of my subscription arrived today!), and watch my first film from Lovefilm - a Swedish film called Masjavlar (or Dalecarlians, not sure which is the English title) which looks wonderful, a little reminiscent of the family situation in Junebug. What are you up to Axis?
entirely dull thread. Malibu then, sounds a little nasty. A film though that sounds like a good idea, i might go raid everyone elses dvd collections.
although I am a little tipsy now though. Try alluc.org if you can't find any good DVDs.
wewerewolvesonce has inspired me to listen to the proms, the guy on the piano is fantastic.
i need more ideas for mine
and browsing DiS
have they stopped tinkering with the piano yet?
i do love the proms.
I shall do this and Dis.
piano progressions(?) is amazing :-)
enlighten me, i only listen to a few classical composers and only really a few of their albums.
but these days i don't really have much of a clue, what i can tell you though is that the piece they're performing at the moment is by a jazz composer Gwilym Simcock, who creates classicaly inspired jazz pieces
with this many instruments all in time, but that guy on the drums is absolutely insistent that it IS jazz. It's nice but i prefer it to be really classical, lots of slow building and atmospheric brilliance. i don't know what i really mean but i do like mahler and rachmaninov mostly.
What classical Cd must i hear/buy, it can be something really well known or obscure, just recommend one please.
Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No.3 in D minor is amazing, as well as being one of the most technical piano pieces ever written it's stunningly emotive
i hope it arrives this week.
yayay. To a gathering/party.
Have a good one.
so me and my friend can be really bored and boring together, instead of apart.
good luck though.
Actually i'm not sure i want you to succeed, i think i'd like Chile.

Going to play that soon, right now just sitting here a little stoned listening to the Mclusky b-sides disc and supping tea.
i have no bloody milk!!!11
I won't accept an Axis without tea!!eleven
