Hen/stag nights

nice_squirrel [Edit] [Delete] 23 replies 12:45, 5 August '05
I'm off to my first hen night tomorrow, in Cardiff, and I'm slightly worried about what it's going to involve. I already know I have to dress as a fairy, I hope things aren't going to get any more humiliating. Anyone got any good hen/stag night stories?

I have a total of four stag nights to attend next year, two of which I have to arrange!

I will watch this thread closely for inspiration...

Clearly you're going to have pictures of you dressed as a fairy and use one for your profile, Squirrel?

        Goes without saying, surely?

Well, you'll just have to keep an eye out on Monday, won't you?

Hen nights are generally pretty good fun, as for dressing up well it depends if you enjoy that type of thing - personally I'm not a big fan. I have to go to one in Bath in a few weeks and dress as a policewoman...

All the hen nights I've been on (including my own) have mainly involved drinking all day and night with a bit of shopping/eating inbetween so long as everyone realises you're going to be a group of drunk, raucous women probably with the whole learner sign/fake veil thing going on and that there's no real point trying to be cool or maintain dignity then you'll have a good time!

I don't get it either, it's not fun or funny really. Although you don't lose each other in clubs so much because stupid boppers on heads and such are easy to spot. It's probably to do with forcing a "group" mentality...plus the whole aren't we going mad on our last night of freedom type thing.

For the record, I didn't dress up :)

Maybe, it's just a bit of fun. Why analyse it?

I was in one of my locals a few weeks ago -may have been during Live8- and these lads on a stag night were in there. The obligatory stripper turned up, christ she was an angry woman! The (presumed) groom wasn't really into it, and the whole thing was slightly embarassing, it was uncomfortable just to watch it. If it was me I'd have point-blank refused to go anywhere near her leathery breasts.

I remember a few years ago in the Flyhalf and Firkin in Cardiff a stripper coming in and removing the trousers and boxers of a hapless husband-to-be. She put a bag over his head, handcuffed him and stripped him off. She then hailed a taxi and sped off - with the keys. He was stood there for 15 minutes with his lad hanging out for all to see, while his 'mates' laughed.

That was the same night that a saw a man break his leg playing Jumbo Jenga.

i was in blackpool once and this oriental stripper came into our hotel bar for a stag weekend victim......and she stripped the poor bloke off......set fire to his pubes and dripped molten candlewax all over his circumcised john thomas!!

it was not pleasurable to watch although he seemed to love it!!!

No offence Jack, but why do you have to so sarcastic all the time? Every post you write comes with a sneer.

its because he is so superior to anybody else....he cant help it...he was just born that way......us mere mortals can only look on in awe!!

Evidently. Even the name 'Jack the Biscuit' stuns me. He is a true enigma.

do you still spell enigma with a 'T' at the start....and make the middle up with OSSE......and also finish it up nicely with an R??

If so grinner...you bought the same dictionary i did!!

Excellent a chance to recount my stag night story. I was best man and had to organise. So I got 20 odd blokes dressed in tracksuits and blond fright wigs pretending to be Jimmy Savile. We all learned the Jim'll Fixit theme tune - harmonies and all and hit the town. Then we had to take it in turns to do "fixits" drawn from a pack of cards. My favourite was when someone had to cinga around the pub on their own. We had to bribe the bouncers with cardboard jim'll fixit badges so they didn't throw us out. The power of Savile remains undimmed.

beautiful story.....every now and then you will come accross a group that have been highly original and amusing......it makes up for the thousands of groups you see in cardiff centre with hawiian shirts and fake afros!!!

Wow, the Jim'll one sounds great! Is Cardiff a big place for hen nights then? The one I'm going is just there because my friend lives there.
