Any suggestions for new ones please? Must pay at least £28k
I can see you as an ad sales monkey.
I couldn't sell a hooker to a sex tourist
Also: I'd rather starve than work for Foxtons
I work for an advertising company - planning and buying. Mostly planning. Well all the good people are leaving, the company has no real structure and I seem to spend all my time getting shat on by 3 directors.
so somthing less evil then, but you have no real skill set then? and u need 28k. sales might be only answer and thats evil too. hard life.
And by which loads I mean we practically only do charities.
I've got a pretty good skill set I'd say - I've been doing data planning so I've gotten pretty awesome at excel, access and SPSS (all off my own back, i can negotiate, I've done tons of research and I'm pretty top notch at presenting
but I'm willing to work for 20k. Or just food and board.
Pays about 100k a minute.
Do not work in property. It's a declining market over here. My ex was / is a property guy and he's literally in the process of heading to Shanghai - where property is experiencing growth.
If you worked for Foxton's I'd personally perform brain surgery on your head. They are very, very, very, bad people and I have this from insider knowledge.
Hold onto your job for now - I hate to sound scaremongerish but this credit crunch ain't fun… trust me. You've got good prospects there, dude - you went through intern training and stuff with a good agency - see if you can move internally.
The company is only about 20 people, dropping at a rate. All the talented people who don't get rated are leaving and all the lazy useless middle management who refuse to let anything change are still here and stagnating the place. This place is going down the pan and I need out sharpish
cuts are taking place everywhere and in this climate, clients are less likely to be spending cash on advertising, media buying etc, than in teh past.. which means cost cuts all around.
