everyone had a nice weekend?
hello but there's always that 1.00% chance it may not have been you. Not stalking you but whilst having my own haricut sitting on the throne Saturday morning I couldn't help but notice the shiffty looking character reading the Dail Mail of all things in the mirror!
You should have said hello! And kept me company on my journey to that record 'shop' next to the Palmerston. They're far too happy down there.
to the Palmerston? Jesus I'm losing it, when did that arrive? Ok next time I'll make the move Bamos, you still working in the CPT?
It's an 'art space' apparently. They're encouraging people to pop down, share music with each other and relax in there. Run by some lovely people, incluing Yndi Halda's tour manager, apparently. Basically it looks lovely, but it's mainly just reams and reams of mid-late 90's dance 12"s, and a very, very few new CDs. And the full array of Sonic Cathedral 7"s.
I've given up on the CPT now. I can't handle two jobs. And the CPT is being slowly ruined from the inside, turning it into some faux-Lane hell-hole.
I've seen some 'dudes' standing around outside street level and wondered what was going on. Will pop in then although doesn't sound as though I'll find that elusive Judas Priest 1977 tour only EP.
mine was alright.
<holiday Monday...i get paid triple time and i get to leave at 11am!>
erm my weekend was boring but i dont really mind as its you know what in 2 days time!
11 days 'til i get the keys for the new pad (it looks alot like this: http://www.s1rental.com/renting/search/200710011023360540.shtml)
and also not long 'til i can LEAVE WORK. Plus: Batman in 2 days, innit!!
im jealous!i want a nice flat :(
i have fat fingers today.i keep having to go through the whole post before i actually post it cos my fatty digits have pressed 3 keys when only 1 was needed
I got my haircut and it's quite short on one side (yes, it's asymmetrical). I also got some new work clothes, but when I got home I realised that the trouers I bought were actually flares :(
And they looking the shit.
£20 and they're yours.
The groom wasn't there. He spoke to us by video link from the states.
It was sadly pretty grim.
Went out on Friday for drinks- had my gf ask the question "Do you and Sadpunk talk about anything other than DiS and your band?"
Saturday went to Galleries of Justice and saw some prison stuff, and tried to re-enact part of rubbish-paranormal-based-twatfarm 'Most Haunted', which involved speaking in a camp northern voice. Later got a Twin Peaks box set for £10 and watched some of that.
Sunday had pancakes for breakfast and looked at houses on the interwebs. Completed guitar hero on medium.
I remember conversations about robots, girls and jobs. Actually, I may have been talking to the robot about girls and jobs.
I haven't been the GoJ since I was little, is it still ace?
We went quite late, so we were the only two people on the tour, so it was pretty lol-some. Rachel sentenced me to death by hanging, which is still a sore point.
I think the robot was a bit of an underused application- shots of beer? Honestly..
They should put more effort in. It's a robot, make it blow stuff up with lasers!
did some stuff, made a fry up, cheese on toast, chicken chow mein (well, soph made that) (it was right buff) then had a few drinkypoos then did battle with a hungy gwumperwumper then learnt some riffs then drove to morrisons, the family people thingy place, then had some buff picanic ingredients bought for m, then had a picanic with 4 fine ales then played some street style basketball, it was pretty cool, Soph and i got all, small southamton pixie gnome can't jump on some local ruffians, and hustled them off the court taking their money, their clothes and their women, then it was one of my brother's mates birthdays, so we sat in a beer garden and drinked another fine ale, then we played some more street, this time amongst friends, then watched 27:22 mins of a cinderalla story.
Dull as always, played bioshock and watched motorsport. Really ought to start doing more with my time.
Getting my haircut today, exciting times.
It was productive but not esspecially fun.
Friday, I cricketed myself to death. I'm still in agony this morning. We got battered as a team, but that's hardly surprising. I'm pretty pleased with my figures though. They voted me Man Of The Series for our team :)
Game One: Bowling 4-0-34-2; batting 13.
Game Two: Bowling 4-1-11-1; batting 10.
Saturday: moaned about my broken body a lot, had a haircut, went to Crouch End, watched Singles.
Sunday: moaned about my broken body a lot more, watched the golf.
I could simply have watched Love Actually with a Soundgarden album playing in the background, but I wanted to be authentic. Maaaan.
Friday - Posted two CDs for two Dissers. (YAY) Had massive curry with too much rice, loads of chicken pakora and chips.
Saturday - Shopped, bought aforementioned flares, cardigan, had a piazza and sang karaoke. Bought Mass Effect
Sunday - Drove home, ate a sandwich, played 5 hours of Mass Effect.
Friday, my boyfriend cooked me a lovely tea and on Saturday we went for a picnic and ate fancy cheese.
Sunday I finished The Virgin Suicides and watched Batman Begins.
It was lovely, but not exciting.
Went punting in cambridge on saturday, was good fun, despite nearly falling in about 5 times. Had a few nice ales then steak for dinner. Brilliant.
Lazed around on Sunday, mowed the lawn, watched Tru Calling and Buffy.
