pretty good yeah? i'm about 1/4 of the way through and it's ace.
i've already said too much
just the word 'kerb' makes me shudder.
Why did i just watch that?!
this is the best film i have seen in a long long while.
i ain't never did see it though.
you should watch it, my girlfriend likes wes anderson movies wanna swap
The Darjeeling Ltd was one of the better films from last year.
half nelson was way better than darjeeling ltd
juno is an infinitely superior film to anything wes anderson has ever done
but I wish the reviews hadn't said "Hilariously funny" etc because that made me like it less because I found it touching but not funny at all, which I didn't expect.
the main problem was that the script wasnt very good, the actual story and acting were well enough done.
all the namedropping was quite good, i think they coulda cast someone a bit more believable as the guy who was meant to have been in a band that supported the melvins though
i liked the bit with the tic tacs in the mailbox im gonna adopt an air of indie cool and do that to my true love one day
Can't really comment. It looked like it could have been good.
So by that logic, Half Nelson will be one of the defining moments of my cinematic life.
i wouldnt like it to be a disappointment, you should definitely watch it though
guessed the end all wrong so it came as a shock, really well structured though.
Yeah ending did it for me. Was all smug about how it would unfold then bang!
just finished it, i feel really upset now.
um, ok I shouldn't spoil the film, but basically how it actually ended, did you think that was how it would end but....
ok I can't ask without spoiling the film so I'll shush.
spoil away, i've seen it now.

Basically at the end of the film I thought Edward Norton would be shot, so I was surprised when it was Edward Furlong, did anyone else think this or did you just think no one would get shot?
I get to do the spoiler question and no one replies ¬_¬ :(
I'm not sure why I thought it, I suppose maybe because he'd had his catharsis so it felt like he would go.
it was built up like that i guess, he was walking around all nervous and trying to lay low and it seemed like that was the way it was gonna go, but then it didnt so, huh
that said, im not really sure whether i like this film or not, it was pretty engrossing and interesting though
the only reason I watched it was because I was trying to work my way through a load of films I'd never seen before of my dad's, I watched American Psycho before it, also a good film.
that Norton would be shot. Think it would have gone out with a bit of a wimper if that's how it had closed.
(yes it took me ages to realise that was wrong)
