I think I'm getting old (computer games-centric)
So, my (15 year-old) brother was playing Super Mario Galaxy, and I'm just like: whats with this shit? Its really fast and it keeps on going upside down and I don't understand the controllers and the way the two-player thing works. I'm not even entirely sure what the aim was. It was worse than sitting outside URBIS, or a trip to Affleck's palace, or something. When I play a video/computer game I want a proper controller like a keyboard or a gamepad. Oh and for it to have a proper plot, and dialogue, and atmosphere, and not be all weird and fast and youth-oriented. Basically, progress has left me behind already.
And another thing: there is a Wii news channel. Who the hell gets their news from Wii?
Where the fuck you come from?
I like the Wii
but when it comes to old games like Mario, I'm with the original first few games, not the modern ones.
You're forgetting the three best games of all time
Planescape:Torment
Anachronox
and Morrowind
Oh, and the third Monkey Island game and Unreal Tournament too.
Unreal 2004
But I played it earlier on some horrendous difficulty level, and I felt like I'd injected raw speed into my eyeballs.
I have 2003
top difficulty setting + InstaGib = hours of fun.
2004 has vehicles.
Hours of fun with tanks and running people over. And cutting heads off with hovercraft blades.
mario galaxy
is amazing
I like chess
and scrabble
Me too
I think I actively prefer board games to computer games now, actually.
It's one of those games, like Portal
which you can't really understand unless you're the one playing it.
my little nephew
has a new sonic game on one of them playstations, i sat there watching for like 5 minutes and had to move because i was getting a headache :/
Are you posting from this account when you're at home then?
Oh yeah
I got PMed in this one, so I guess I just stayed logged in.
Mario Galaxy is awesome
The first (and probably last) time my wife has consented to play a computer game with me for any length of time (she was my star helper :))
spend about half an hour playing galaxy
and I guarantee you'll be in love with it, if it seems so surprising.
One of my favourite ever games.
Mario games have never had a proper plot or
spoken dialogue. It's just the planet thing that takes getting used to, and once you give it a try you will find that it's amazing.
many games these days are turd
i just want them to remake Final fantasies 1-9, deus ex, silent hill 1+2, resies 1-3, tomb raider 1-3, dino crisis+ system shock 2
