People keep saying it to me as if I'm meant to know what it is, but I have no idea. I hate invoices.
or build up
"Just to remind everyone that all outstanding invoices need to be with AP NGFR by close of business on
Wednesday 23rd July 08
This is to ensure they are processed before Fridays Period close.
But if they are not received by Wednesday‘s deadline, then you may need to accrual for these invoices."
I don't get it.
Should it be 'an accrual'?
Friday's needs an apostrophe.
I'd ignore it. If they're not capable of writing a sentence they're probably not capable of chasing you for 'an accrual'
His surname is Boob and he's ehtnically challenged...
'Hitler was accrual man'
send my fucking MixCD
I suck, I know. I keep saying I'll post it but always forget. Payday tomorrow, it's down as one of my weekend tasks!
Hello I'm an accountant.
An accrual will be raised by an accountant when the cost has not hit the books but needs to be reflected in that month.
Say you buy £10 of apples for September but the bill does not come in until October. The accountant will journal the cost into the books so that it looks like you have spent £10 in September and then when you get the bill in October will release the accrual. Therefore cost hits in September with nil effect in October.
has a career.
hello im an accounting student who understood the principle but couldnt be arsed to write an example
for one fuck of an exciting life.
I've currently got to justify why certain things have been overspent on.
Apparently, "because I blindly guessed at the budget stage" is not a good enough reason.
