well, not strictly no-one. it was a joint birthday/housewarming thing. the guestlist was about 50, 25 for me, and same for my flatmate. a few of his friends turned up early on, and by 11 there were about 20 people here, though none of my friends. i'd already had a few phonecalls ("my laptop is broke and i need to fix it before a gig on thursday, the situation is desperate", "i have work really early in the morning" (she works in a pub), "my dentist gave me the wrong medication and it's made me really ill" etc. etc.), the last of which came about 12, and i gave up all hope. 2 actual people turned up from my invitees, and one left almost straight away. spent the remainder of the night moping with the other.
i think this is a pretty damning indictment of the state of my life. even more so is that i'm whining about it on an internet forum. this is, though, infinitely better than interacting with real people at this point in time.
