what's your favourite? mine is the humble red onion. YUM.
as a kind of "yummy in most circumstances" kind of thing
a lot of it's generally how you cook them though, obvs. i r obvious stater yay
some fried, some roasted.
red/yellow pepper, courgette, aubergeine, om nom nom
but i do always cheat and use that "roasted vegetable seasoning" sachet, one of those cases i really shout have a look what the ingredients are, because they're bound to be cheaper/nicer prepared more homemade-ly
that;s what i have now. yellow pepper, red onion and aubergine. i made too much, want some?
i haven't decided what i'm cooking for tea yet, so I'll have some of yours instead!
i'm really full now. i have cooked enough for 3 days! eek
Mushrooms - the Jesus fruit.
Really? Eww :(
millions of things you can do to it! some illegal however.
then mushrooms as a proper vegetable since potatoes don't count.
not the most disgusting vegetable in the world.
that was a NEGATIVE five. oh yeah.
and sweet potato. all sweet vegetables can fuck off.
parsnip, sweet potato, turnip, squash can all go and...and...be in someone elses food.
Apart from sweet potatoes in tempura are so nice.
actually, i used to hate sweet potato and i like it now. maybe i don't hate parsnip anymore either.
but i like most veg.
'cept mushrooms and celery.
i don't like sprouts, but nobody actually likes them do they?
celery is ewwwww and mushrooms are essentially fungi. so NOTHANKYOU.
and cabbage can be ok. even though sprouts are basically small cabbages, their taste seems to take a downward turn during the shrinking process.
in coleslaw. not anything else. and celery only when it's been boiled so much you can't taste it. and mushrooms when they've been made into something else like fake meat or something.
basically, vegetables ftw.
except mushrooms and excessive onion when you can really taste it :(
"oh but it's a fruit"
shut up, it's used in a vegetable context, shut up.
is one of my favs and roast potatoes rule. Roasting most veg works a treat.
loving my root veg at the moment, particularly celeriac (roasted)
avocado (if that counts)
or spring greens
