I'd rather mash my japs-eye with a toffee-hammer.
cor...didnt we have some great times there as nips....shuffling through the bushes...cricket on the strip...play recitels amongst the ruins...cow pats on the gola's....great bloody days. i miss matty boy, he cooked a mean barbie....
You can call him a nasty piece of work...but he was a wizard on the BBQ. Really knew how to make that meat surrender.
Hadleigh Castle was tops though.
i think i'd feel depressed as hell to go back now though.
specially without a certain lads lucious blond curls, bitchumen flecked fingers and machine gun stutter. what a man.
Where art thou?
I hope he invites me to the new Rancid concert.
waiting for an invitation to see him get his louis done to go with the lestat.
'matt....you do know that technically....technically....you've got a tattoo of tom cruise on your arm....
'no its lestat'
'yeah...i mean...i know its lestat...but thats just the character...i mean...that isnt an artists impression of lestat...thats will just always be tom cruises face deep down'
'no...well...yeah but......its lestat'
thats pretty cool.
as long as its one from aliens and not one, three or ressurection.
has he mentioned just getting Sigourney Weaver instead?
its a one a them thingemy bober jobbers
I got a double laugh there...
I also imagined your Dad walking in and witnessing his only son drinking in the image of a massive bulbous cock.
only new people that ive never meet before in my old house...
one guy caught a glimpse.....a very awkward conversation ensued.....
he's a ressurection fan y'see.
Like, down the road
too much smoke in the trump
that was the best castle ever!
I' plump for St.Maws Mount to live in but, Jimi's Spanish magic one would be my favorite.
Mad King Ludwig knew how to build a castle. But, you can get there by Drangonfly.
Can I respond with abbeys / priories?
If yes, then Rievaulx, Jervaulx, Byland & Kirkham.
If no, then I'd probably go for Middleham.
And yes, I do only like things in ruin-form.
If I were to ever become an ultra-billionaire, the first thing I'd do would be to have Hogwarts made. Exactly. Or as exactly as possible.
but one gets the impression that it might be all style over substance.
In which case Le Krak de chevaliers or Karak have got to be the most impressive of castles
India has lots of very impressive 'forts' like the red fort or amber fort.
I like corfe castle and harlech and the many ruined scottish small fortifications on the coast, actually I like mostly all castles, its to do with their antiquity and non religeousness...I like big blocks of stone in buildings
Tis just down the road. It's nice.
It saved the world in the war, kind of. Plus there's a nuclear bunker under the war time tunnels that still has a BBC studio in it for broadcasting the doomsday message/the Archers in case of the nuclear holocaust.
It's much better than Warwick, which is total shit.
Now this is a castle.
Lindisfarne - Lutyens ftw
I also have a soft spot for Ewloe Castle and Richmond Castle
near Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire.
many happy times there as a tyke
which had a trebuchet.
I had one as a kid and the moat came with green slime!
castle north of aberdeen.....its on the cliffs....its ruined (or incomplete) and you can camop in it and light fires....so what if its a bit shammy....its atmospheric camping there at night
