I was speaking to my better half on the phone yesterday (she has gone home for a couple of weeks) who i have been going out with for a couple years now. She was telling me about some family do she had been to and the fact that people had been asking about me. She seemed a little miffed about it and uttered the words 'i didn't think we were really that serious'.
Now, I am only 21, with a year and a bit of uni to go and I don't really expect to settle down now without doing a bit of 'sight-seeing' first, as it were, but we have been going out for a rather long time and I was under the impression that we were quite close.
So my question is, if you were in my situation would you feel liberated that the other half wasn't taking things too seriously, or annoyed that she doesn't see the relationship the same way you do?
