Right. So I guess I left my phone on a table at The Windmill the other weekend. And now I've had to get a new phone (new as in I've stolen my dad's old one which was at least a whole decade ahead of my in terms of technology) and bother Vodafone for a new sim card. Of course, the new/old phone I'm using is an 02 bastard, and because:

a) i want my old number back
b) 02 can never be forgiven for sponsoring Arsenal

I need to get the phone unlocked so I can reclaim my credit etc, and get inundated by the literally several texts that will be waiting for me on my old number.

Can I unlock it without going to a shop and paying for it because:

a) I'm lazy
b) I've wasted my lunch typing this

Plus I'm interested. I have now dropped a phone in a toilet, wrapped a phone in a pallet to be uplifted to a distribution depot, and left a phone on a picnic table in Brixton.
