for me, dogs are much better.
but i wouldnt let either share the sofa
i love how they can look after themselves.
dogs stink, and would shit everywhere if you didnt walk them.
cats go out through a cat flap, do a dump, come back in and clean themselves so they dont stink.
plus they just laze around and sleep in funny positions and sleep on your bed and stuff, whereas dogs jump up on you and annoy you if you dont give them constant attention
but dogs win on penalties as i'm deathly allergic to cats
of having a pet if it just pisses off when it wants, roams the streets like a dirty harlot and uses you for a bed when it starts to rain/get cold.
dogs are loyal.
cats couldn't give a shit.
...roams the streets like a dirty harlot and uses you for a bed when it starts to rain/get cold"
Ah, you've met my girlfriend?
Anagaram of gods, cats - scat.
cats are boring as fuck.
If you want big dopey mates for life who can offer you protection - dogs.
If you want a pet you have to build a relationship with that's ultimately more rewarding than one with a dog could be - cats.
I like both. Cats probably a bit more.
Don't get me wrong, I do like cats, but dogs are much more dependant on people and I generally find that dog owners are much more attached to and have a meaningful bond with their pets than cat owners are.
and if they come and see you of their own accord and have a stroke it's quite nice. Whereas with dogs, they'll do that within two seconds of meeting you.
and you have to build up trust with them, to ensure them that you're not trying to kill their owner or something.
Some cats would be just as affectionate to a stranger if tempted with food.
Some dogs love everyone and some are more loyal.
My dog is friendly towards all people, but I still have a bond with her, which I know stills means more.
when playing with dogs. Cats aren't nearly as much fun, and I find them a bit calculating for a household pet.
but I'm definetly more of a dog person.
I'm scared of dogs. :(
Pretty much for pigfoot_'s reasons.
some cats are scary but they don't need that much looking after and i'm lazy.
lolcats > faildogs
i love dogs more.i love dogs more than i love humans
I like cats too, but sometimes they can get too high and mighty.
Plus, when you're standing on a cliff top, surveying the world bellow you, it looks far better to have a dog beside you*.
*It's actually a lion, which is a feline, but you can't really get a lion to be all pet-y.
and Jesus isn't real. So Aslan isn't real. Even if he does talk.
pretty much because we had a MASSIVE german shepherd when I was a kid. He was truly an animal of excellence. chased off numerous ne'er-do-wells who wanted to tarmac our drive. when we moved the whole street we used to live on got burgled within a week!
...and cats make me itchy.
