Leather jacket conundrum

yes_ [Edit] [Delete] 17:28, 4 July '08

I really want a leather jacket. However, as a vegetarian I feel this isn't exactly in line with my morals.

here's the conumdrum:
I have a *real* leather jacket, bought secondhand, when I was about 13 and not a vegetarian. It will probably still fit me if I can find it at my maws house (LOL, for a start). Is it right to wear it? I feel buying it secondhand from a charity shop kind of absolves me of any responsiblity for the industry to profit, which is one of my objections to meat, but I still don't feel completely happy about it. I wear leather shoes on occasion though, as it's difficult to find good non-leather ones.

I dont object to the leather industry quite as much as the meat industry, but I'm still not completely happy. Gizzuhand.

N.B I have, in total, £5.50 to my name at the moment, but just in case I come into any cash can someone direct me to a good fake leather jacket place.
cheers
