Just wondering. I can't decide.
Or, have you ever seen a ghost?
Best lyrics in the world. Ever.
It's kind of a cultural thing maybe.. Ghosts crop up quite a lot in Chinese culture, I'd be worried my ancestors would come and get me if I didn't believe in them.. umm..
because of the following reason:
Im glad i was spared tbh
in INTERNET CONSPIRACY OUTRAGE, doubtless...
and other people who can make money out of silly proles who want something to believe in.
Though I do believe in 'energy' and 'matter' and how old buildings can 'store up' energy or something.
even though i know it's probably new age wank
i must watch ghostbusters 1&2 that i bought but have never since watched.
I mean, it wouldn't be the first time you'd EVER watched them?
bill murray = legend
i only bought it because i was trying to get a third on the hmv 3 for £20 thing. i only wanted one dvd, but it costs £22 on its own or something.
i got aeon flux as well. worst. film. ever. 3 for £20 is a good scheme to save space in hmv's bins.
I saw Aeon Flux when I'd had too much to drink one night and was eating pizza and nearly threw up. I think it was the film that made my head spin. Anyway it has bad memories.
From the Online Dictionary:
The soul of a dead person, a disembodied spirit imagined, usually as a vague, shadowy or evanescent form, as wandering among or haunting living persons.
'the soul of a dead person, a disembodied spirit' does truely exist in their minds?
Who says that ghosts are measurable scientifically?
Originally ghosts were described as being disembodied....because you try to confirm evidence in another way........thats the whole point.......really think about it.....they are apparitions that feil to be provable or confirmed by other means.......also they are not just visual apparitions.
For instance who could deny the presence (maybe fading) of Hitler's (or stalin's) ghost, it affects many peoples thinking nowadays and hangs heavy over our heads
But I meant do they actually exist in a physical sense?
Oh...I don't know, it's hot in my office, it's Friday, I ate too much for lunch and I'm very confused.
I recognise with electrical signals in my brane.
Ghosts are also something that people recognise with electrical signals in your brane.
There are ghosts in the machine
you have no electrical signals in your brain? Like today, for example, with me. The wheel's turning but the mouse is definitely dead.
That means I won't see any ghosts, right?
rather than in the sense that, say, Sherlock Holmes does.
They exist in the sense that Sherlock holmes does - as a fiction.
WHO WAS GHOST?
is capable of doing some very weird things, especially just before falling asleep or just after waking and images of people that the brain creates are what I consider ghosts so yeah, I believe in them.
Do I believe there are dead people walking around? No. Not at all.
I think people trust their own vision far too much, generally.
*puts on cynic from Strange But True glasses and prepares to pick holes*
i thought you were gonna say you got laid tho...
You're mentally ill. Everything you wrote there was a hallucination becuase you're mentally ill. You were also drunk and this never happened.
Do you really think the most likely explanation for what you saw or think you saw is a disembodied spirit?
Why is it so implausible that a confused old lady could have been walking about, and yet something which goes against pretty much all our knowledge of the way the physical world works isn't?
Have you really ruled out all the mundane explanations before settling on the fantastical one?
All this is assuming you aren't remembering the story incorrectly, which is by no means unlikely.
because they don't exist
I believe in Occam's Razor, the simplest explanation is normally best.
With ghosts it is that you are a retard or looking for something.
