Does gay friendly mean they'll be lots of gay people there?

scutterbucket [Edit] [Delete] 20:56, 2 July '08

Not really a problem for me but last time I stayed in a hotel that professed itself to be gay friendly it was in Manchester and the lobby was full of fat men in PVC and there was a man sat on the stairs wearing a gimp mask whilst trying to talk on his mobile phone. It wasn't a hotel as such, more of a gay fuck fest.

The reason I asked is that I'm booked in to stay in a hotel tomorrow night in Bude, Cornwall and one of the things it lists as a feature is the fact that its gay friendly. Why put this? Are gay people not allowed to stay in hotels together these days? Anyway, if a hotel listed itself as "Gay Friendly" would you think that it meant only gay people tended to go there?
