London Lite for me. Purely for the text column.
"Man on train eating lemons. Bit odd?"
"Anyone else really depressed?"
Manchester Evening News
i love their pro-tap water campaign! it has the backing of Gordon Brown and David Cameron don't yano
they sometimes filter on to the portsmouth
-waterloo line. isnt it a whole paper full of half naked celebrities.
They make me irrationally angry, to the extent where sometimes I shoulder-charge the two chumps handing them out on the corner at the top of City Road.
Fucking abominations of products that should be banned immediately.
What's his problem?"
and an environmental catastrophe but they make my bus journey pass quicker when I can't be arsed reading my book.
a bit leeds post rock band that, sorry.
anyways, they're really helped me get back into reading books on trains and stuff. What's that Groucho Marx quote? "I find TV very educational - whenever someone turns it on, I go into another room and read a book"?
but I prefer The London Paper's layout and articles
I love the Metro. Mainly it's Nemi/horoscopes/sudoku page.
but talking about The Big Three in london, The London Paper wins. why? because it has 3 sudoku. yes Metro does too, only recently. loosers. also the comic about the 20 something housesharers is actually pretty funny
It always runs with a sensationalist headline that's really tenuously linked to the local area. Gypsies, immigrants, teachers on Facebook and paedophiles are their usual targets.
