Realising you cannot live with your parents ever again

amputee-porn [Edit] [Delete] 22:58, 1 July '08

So I finished my degree, moved home two days ago and if I don't move out again soon I'll be on the news within a week.

I meant to find a place back in Fallowfield at the end of summer, but it can't wait - my question is, because it's likely I'd be living with students and I am now not one, how does council tax work? As far as I know it's based on the property, so would I have to pay for the whole thing due to the students' exemption? How much do other manc peeps pay?

It's fairly essential because I want a year not thinking about education or a career, so will be working something dead end and can see it being tight.

Ta to anyone with any insight.
